kimk1Flowing tresses, chic updos, voluminous bouffant styles were all the rage at the 51st Grammy Awards, held on February 8. While an old-style glamour revival was apparent (see Katy Perry and Taylor Swift), big hair also appeared to be making a comeback, but not in a good way. See below for some shots of the (style) winners and losers on the night.

Looking surprisingly demure, Kim Kardashian’s elegant chignon is a timeless classic.

Honourable Mention:
If you can look past the freakishly filled-in lips and overdone makeup, Lisa Rinna’s multi-up do was sleek and stylish, taking the bun to greater heights.

Holding the record for most consecutive appearances on worst dressed lists, Bai Ling was leaning on the conservative side, with a razor straight-blunt fringe and simple pony. The jury’s still out on this one, Bai. Continue…
