This Christmas i will be asking for a few products to help me stay protected in the sun from sunburn as well as protecting my skin from aging. Protecting your skin from the sun is number 1 thing we can do to protect it from aging.  So even if your not planning on going out in the harsh sun pop some sunscreen on and your skin with thank you in  years to come. I think one of the hardest things for clients including myself is trying to find a great sunscreen that doesn’t feel heavy, greasy and pale.

For the face : Skinceuticals daily Sun defense SPF20 (dryer skins) Ultimate UV defense SPF 30 (norm- oily skins). Both these products are part of a cosmecuticals range. Great used on clean skin as the last step in your skin care routine in the morning before makeup. If you want extra anti-aging use a vit c serum during the day underneath the sunscreen. Both the ce Ferulic(dryer skins) and Phloretin CF(oily) have won numerous awards for their anti-aging properties and contain a combination of powerful antioxidants to help protect the skin while stimulating the collagen production to reduce pigmentation.

For the body: Clarins Sun Care Spray Oil free Lotion Moderate Protection. Its so easy to apply just spray all over, it absorbs quickly no need to rub it in with sand all over your hands, and it doesn’t feel oily or sticky. I love this one!

For the beach/gym bag : Dermalogica Solar defense wipes.  I love these at the beach because they feel so cool and refreshing while giving you extra sun protection, what a bonus!
