Its Easter holiday time and the kids are home from school. But when they go back you live in fear of them coming home with the little monsters in thier hair – Head lice. Hi, lice have no wings so they cant fly. They also have no kness so they cant jump.

hi again i asked before if lice can fly you said no and that they can’t jump but my cousin claims that she saw the lice jumping in her hair what i would like to know is if there is another type of insect with the same characteristics as lice??????????/

there are lots of small insects that can fly but not lice. The other insects cannot live in the hair,so this might explain them jumping off.

This is extremely unlikely. You would be so itchy and uncomfortable with hair lice that you will be able to feel even just a couple.

I’m not sure if my daughter has a live infestation… if we shampoo with regular shampoo will it fall out or will it still be there? (looked like black dots on scalp)
