RY.COM.AU PARTNERS WITH LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER
Ry.com.au is pleased to announce we are partnering up with the Look Good Feel Better foundation for the whole month of July. Starting from July 1st, Ry.com.au are offering customers the chance to donate with every purchase they make during the month of July. At the end of the month all money raised will be donated to LGFB in the form of beauty products with Ry.com.au matching up to $1500!
Run by the Cancer Patients Foundation, the LGFB program has been providing free workshops for Australian women, men and teens for 25 years. The workshops are designed to help patient’s better cope with the appearance-related side-effects caused by cancer treatment.Each participant receives a Confidence Kit, full of skincare and make-up products to use as tools for application throughout the workshop. We’d love to be able contribute products that would help these workshops continue running effectively. In Australia, more than 118,000 people have already participated in the program which now offers approximately 1,000 workshops in more than 180 venues across Australia in both metropolitan and regional areas. Ry.com.au’s support will assist LGFB in providing workshops to 10,000 participants this year.
Linda, a Look Good Feel Better participant says that the program has had an incredible impact on her and her family. “The very best part of the morning was coming home to the happy tears of my nine-year old daughter who tearfully informed me that I was now ‘THE prettiest mummy in the world’,” says Linda.
“It wasn’t until then that I realised that it was the kind of smile that I hadn’t seen there in a very long time. Who knew a morning of hair, makeup and nattering could lift your spirits in the way that it has lifted mine and then rippled out to affect my family in a positive way too. In a sea of struggle and pain, Look Good Feel Better has provided a little sheltered cove in the midst of our storm,” adds Linda.
