Its good, but use with caution
After a few uses I felt my skin was cleaner, smoother and just a little more radiant. Unfortunately, as few other reviews have suggested, there is no warning as to how harsh the product may be on sensitive skin. The instructions say to apply generously, I would advise against this for anyone using this product for the first time. It will make your skin feel sensitive and go red, you should also avoid going anywhere near your eyes as it will cause them to sting. My skin was a bit red after a few minutes, but then subsided, I wouldn't leave this masque on for too long (7 minutes tops). And yes, there is a natural charcoal smell, its not super pleasant but it is a pure product in that sense.

Love this product! Skin looks so much healthier after using it just once a week. I also use it as a spot treatment over night as I find it really does draw out bacteria/debris underneath skin.

I have normal to oily skin, and have found this mask to have the best results for my congested skin. The mask provides an detoxing exfoliating that does not leave my skin coarse and dry. Will be using for years to come!

Complete Complexion Make-Over!!!
I absolutely LOVE this product! I have very temperamental, combination skin which at any given time can also be dehydrated, dull, sensitive/sensitised and/or breaking out. I've also been left with pigmented scars and uneven skin-tone from past break outs. After starting a new medication, I watched my complexion grow increasingly tired looking and lifeless. I always seemed to have a blemish somewhere and my skin felt bumpy to touch. I decided to try the Charcoal Rescue Mask, as the description offered a resolution to pretty much everything that was bugging me about my skin. it's safe to say this is my new FAVOURITE product. After the first use my skin felt incredibly soft and looked brighter and fresher. There was a slight tingling sensation when first applied, but no irritation or redness once removed. I've been using the mask twice a week, for the last three weeks now and I couldn't be happier with the results. My skin is smooth and soft, no more bumps! My blemishes have cleared up and I haven't broken out since. My skin looks alive again! I definitely recommend everyone to try this mask. It's an all-in-one, complete complexion make-over!

I suffer from dry acne which means my T zone is really dry and my checks are covered in acne. i bought this masque and one of the other dermalogica masques so when ever i use this i put it on the dry parts of my face after i wash it off and pat my face dry i notice that my skin feels so much softer and smother i love this product.
Left my skin so soft!
This mask is an awesome multi-tasker. It's great because its a super lovely face mask, that leaves your skin clean and refreshed, as well as being a gentle exfoliant as well. As you massage this product gently into your skin for removal, it exfoliates dead/dry skin away leaving your skin super soft! This is now my go-to face mask. Only down side is the smell - not a huge fan of the smell...otherwise it's amazing.
