Effective and gentle

I purchased this is a Christmas gift for my sister, who loves it. We have both noticed her skin is looking noticeably clearer and her fine lines are less prominent around the forehead. This is her first retinol product and she experienced no irritation whatsoever, and followed the instructions of use.

Skinstitut Retinol

Turned 30 so wanted to step up my skincare with a retinol. This is a great one to start with at 0.25% retinol. Formula works well with my oily skin. Did slightly burn at first but applying after a moisturiser as a barrier stops irritation. I use twice a week and notice less acne and pigmentation. Lines haven't yet faded but I've only been using for 3 weeks. Make sure to use SPF30+ in AM.

Nice and light serum

This is my first time using retinol. I was a little worried at first as I had heard retinol can leave your skin a bit red and you need to get your skin used to it. I have sensitive skin and I have not had any issues with this. After 3 weeks my skin feels fresh and firm. I use retinol every second night.

Worth it!

I’ve only used this cream for a short period of time, and am amazed to say that I’ve already seen a huge difference in my skin. It has gotten rid of my pigmentation and has faded my acne scars around my cheek area, as well as this it has helped with my rosacea and redness. Overall, giving my skin a really youthful and glowing feel. I’m super excited to try out other products from Skinstitut line.

Fantastic no frills product

I say this is a "no frills" product because the packaging is simple and it is not heavily perfumed. The price is amazing, especially on RY - I think this is the cheapest that I have found it. I have been using Skinstitut Retinol for a year or so now and have seen really good results - my skin is so much clearer and even. I have the beginnings of some lines which have been made so much more less noticeable by Skinstitute Retinol (I am 30 for reference) Fast postage and great customer service from RY - I have already placed a second order! The fact they offer Afterpay is fab!

Suitable for sensitive skin

I like this product. Despite its fragrance, it's gentle enough for my sensitive skin. Seems to plump and smooth my face. My only gripe is the cap which can be tricky and spit out product.

I can feel it working

I really like the texture of this cream, and the fact that there is no strong smell. A small amount glides over my face, and doesnt absorb too quickly, so i can really work it around my face, even with the small amount. When it does absorb, there is no weird residue. I can feel it tightening my skin when i put it on. I have been using it for a few weeks, every other night, and i could see results in the first few days. My skin looked brighter, and smoother. I use it in conjunction with the Vitamin C powder by Skinstitut, and they work amazing together.

Great serum

I love this product. I use it most nights. It does not leave a greasy after feel and is nice and light on the face. I recommend only using every second night to start until your skin is used to it, especially if using with the glycolic cleanser. My only criticism is the size of the tube for the price but I still buy it.
