Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner (previously Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution) is an exfoliator that significantly smoothes skin texture and promotes the appearance of a more even skin tone, as well as more luminous skin, with regular use. It also reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The water-based toner format is suited to daily use.
It contains a 7% concentration of Glycolic acid - a well-studied alpha-hydroxy acid - and a plant-derived Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative, which varies in colour seasonally, and which may cause an apparent colour variation in the formula from time to time.
This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to the additional sun protection notes and other warnings in the provided directions.
The pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic Acid has a pKa of 3.6 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids. pKa describes the acidity of a molecule. When pKa is close to pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, maximizing effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation.
The Ordinary Tip: The multi-functional formula can also be applied to the scalp, where it helps rebalance and reduces dryness by hydrating the scalp skin.

Face/Neck Application: Apply once daily, ideally in the evening. Apply to the face and neck using a cotton pad or fingers.
Scalp Application: Apply to dry scalp, three times a week. Tilt your head back and use the nozzle to gently dispense product from the front to the back of the head in a sweeping motion. Massage well.
Do not rinse off. Do not use on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes.
Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration. If eye or skin irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly, cease use, and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children.
Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Love it!
I really love this toner. It does a great job chemically exfoliating your skin. I find I tend to have a fast cell turnover around my nose area, but when using this product it really keeps it under control!

Amazing WTF!
This product is definitely a holy grail one for sure, exfoliates my skin perfectly removing irregularities and dead skin along with scarring too, my skin glows and is always looking top notch since using this, only use it at night though over exfoliation can lead to problems you definitely don't want, combined with hyaluronic acid and niacinimide your skin will look hydrated, clear, and even in tone!

This was the best purchase of skincare products I bought this year so far. It cleared up my skin within a week. Skin was smooth in the morning and less pimples appeared since then. But make sure u use it before bedtime followed by a good moisturiser. N make sure u wear sunscreen in the morning. Its liquid gold in a bottle. N it takes a little. Also i used it on my Back and heels- ofcourse at night followed by moisture. It works wonder. My backne is gone. Skin is smooth.so is my dry cracked heel. It is so smooth n hasn’t been a new crack . Just love this product. Definitely gonna keep purchasing every year coz one bottle will last more than that i guess. N RY gives free delivery. So super win.

Awesome product
This keeps getting out of stock on all sites. N after using it I realised the reason. This is gold. Best AHA toner. I really don’t know how they are so cheap. Works way more better than pixi glow tonic. It makes my Moisturizer absorb better. All my acnes are gone. My skin is glowing after using it for like three weeks. So so love it. N its a soo big bottle. I m sure it ll expire before i finish it.

Great price
This is a HUGE bottle at such a good price. I used this product only once as it was too strong for my skin (using the lactic acid instead). Even though it was too strong, after my skin had peeled it revealed supple, clear skin. I ended up giving it to a friend who has acne and dermal scarring and is experiencing positive results.

Just what my skin needed
Approaching 50 and haven’t used any acids for quite a few years. Recently started getting a little dull and congested so looked into trying an acid toner. This has made a great difference to my texture and skin clarity. Only a slight tingle for a few minutes. I find waiting 20 minutes before applying moisturiser works best.
