Different Oils and How to Use Them

There are a variety of different oils on the market now for so many different uses on your hair and skin! You’ve probably heard of Coconut Oil and Argan Oil but there are a lot of other great oils that have so many benefits that you could be missing out on!

The benefits of incorporating oil into your haircare or skincare routine include:

Hydration – Oil is the perfect antidote to dry, flaky or rough feeling skin. Oils can be even more beneficial than your normal moisturiser – and you only need the smallest amount to feel instant hydration.

Balancing skins moisture levels -Like dissolves like, so even if you’ve got really oily skin, incorporating a face oil into your skincare routine can actually counteract excess sebum and help clear impurities.

Fight visible signs of ageing – Most face oils are packed with antioxidants that help to protect from radical damage such as UV rays. If your skin is affected by sun damage or damage, oil is your friend.

A great primer under make-up – Oil will settle into your skin in the areas where you need it the most, creating a plumping effect and a smooth, even base for make-up to go on to.

Reduces frizz and detangles hair – Oil is a great all round hair health booster. It acts as a heat protectant, works to seal hair cuticles and makes your hair even more shiny.
