One of the people behind the incredible growth of ASAP skincare  is Managing Director Carly Dowdle. Carly Joined ASAP in 2006 and has been a powering force, driving the brand forward with skincare innovation and product development. spoke with Carly earlier this year and discussed the future plans and direction for the brand.

What separates ASAP from other skincare brands?

ASAP distinguishes itself from other skin care companies in its determination to keep the process simple.  We recognise that the vast array of products on the market today can be overwhelming for the consumer.  ASAP has developed a concise and easy-to-use range that is effective and affordable.

How has ASAP evolved over the last five years?

The overall demand for cosmeceutical skin care and salon equipment has grown over the past 5 years, and ASAP has been reactive to the market needs.  We have extended the ASAP range to include a wider selection of high-strength, concentrated formulations such as ASAP super B complex, ASAP super A+ serum and ASAP ultimate hydration.  These products deliver impressive and long-lasting results, targeting problem areas such as ageing, Rosacea, Acne and uneven skin tone.  Client satisfaction is the key to ASAP’s philosophy, and we are constantly researching ingredients to ensure our formulations contain the latest technology, highest quality and most effective ingredients possible. The ASAP range has not only extended, but our formulations have also evolved over the past five years to give our customers the very best results possible. ASAP’s commitment to helping clients achieve beautiful, radiant skin also led to the development of Australia’s first cosmeceutical make-up range, asap pure.  Designed to compliment ASAP skin care, this beautiful mineral make-up range assists woman to look their best, while also treating the visible signs of ageing.

For our stockists, the biggest development has been the introduction of the microplus+ microdermabrasion machine.  Australian designed and made, this revolutionary machine combines the universally recognised benefits of microdermabrasion with sonophoresis (sound wave technology). The uptake on this equipment has been outstanding, and has given our stockists an advantage in this competitive area.


 Aside from skincare products ASAP also has a mineral make-up range. What can we expect from this range in the near future?

We are very proud that asap pure mineral make-up is Australia’s first cosmeceutical make-up range, and the brand has grown from strength to strength over that last three years from its initial launch. 2014 is going to be an exciting year for asap pure, and I can reveal we are working on extending the range with some innovative, cutting-edge products.

If you were to introduce a new customer to one product, what would it be and why?

This would obviously depend on the customer’s skin type, but a good place to start would be with our No. 1 selling product, ASAP daily exfoliating facial scrub.  Suitable for all skin types, this beautiful scrub contains AHAs and smooth, round exfoliating beads to gently remove dead skin cells and unclog pores without irritation.  This unique dual-exfoliation action encourages cell renewal and collagen production to improve the appearance and texture of the skin, while helping minimise the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, acne and sun damage.
