This season sees the launch of two new products in the Redken styling range. Redken Rootful 06 and Redken Layer lift 07. These new styling products come in slightly different new packaging to make them easy to distinguish from existing products in the range.
What do they Do?
Redken Rootful is a root lifting spray. Early tests in our salon have shown positive results with our stylist liking the lift it gives at the roots and the non tacky feeling on the hair. Many root lift products often leave the hair tight and hard to run a brush or comb through, but rootful left the hair smooth and shiny . The 06 number indicates that this product has 6 times the hold of water so if you’re planning a windy roof trip you will still need to finish with a hairspray.
Layer lift 07 is unique as it’s the only product in the range that targets long layered hair. It has anti humidity chemicals built in to help fight frizz and flatness. Layer lift is ideal for that care free look. Apply to damp hair and air dry for best results.
Remember if you’re using heat tools such as hairdryers, ghd, curling tongs you should always use a styling product with a heat guard built in. Redken have made this easy by making the packaging of all heat protective products in bright pink bottles.
