A staggering Angelina Jolie gravitated down the red carpet this year at the 2012 Academy Awards, glinting an luminescent presence of beauty against the camera’s blinding flashes. The Hollywood actress wore one of the best-dressed this year, in a stunning, black-velvet Atelier Versace gown, which featured a thigh-high slit. She paired the gown with black, peep-top pumps and finished the look with her signature sultry waves and predominantly classic makeup, yet tweaked with a bodacious contemporary look.
