…is the expression of a dynamic collaboration between two Australian designers, Deon St Mor and Dianna Burmas. Launched in 2001, MOR is globally recognised for its range of luxury bath, body and pampering products.
Inspired by exotic places, apothecary and ancient bathing rituals, the philosophy behind MOR is to provide a personalised sensory journey. It’s about taking the time to indulge and creating rituals to re-charge the body, the mind and the soul. Constantly refining the collections, MOR is always sourcing new ways to capture the essence of luxury and well-being.
For those of you who are not familiar with the word ‘Apothecary’ – it is a historical name for a medical professional who formulates and dispenses medica to physicians, surgeons and patients — a role now served by a pharmacist (or a chemist or dispensing chemist) and some caregivers.
By using the word ‘apothecary’, MOR delivers an old world almost medieval feel to their beautifully presented beauty and homewares with a modern twist. The below images remind us of such a time when the art of apothecary was a science.

From the product’s initial inception, much care is taken in creating the finely blended formulations, selecting an elegant mix of unique fragrances and decadently designing the packaging.

I'm a beauty fanatic and have worked in the industry for 5 years. The combination of my Architecture and Business Degree means I'm a sucker for packaging BUT stay loyal to products that perform. The creative element of new and emerging brands pulls me in, but the effectiveness is what I rave to my friends (and you) about.
